"Renegade Sheriff Arrests Andy Cagnetta!"
May 21, 2009 @ 09:00 (EST)
By Lou Vescio

A CRIME OF PASSION OCCURS IN THE IBBA

With the economic times we live in, crimes of desperation have increased and have unfortunately hit many people close to home. At the IBBA, we have also been impacted – but in an unusual way.

Andy Cagnetta, Chairman of the IBBA, put himself in harm’s way and was arrested by a renegade sheriff representing some disadvantaged and needy children. The children, who are part of Dream House, an organization that helps medically fragile kids, really needs our help.

The arresting officer vowed not to return him to the humble confines of the IBBA, his family, or South Florida unless we post his $5,000 bail.

Through the magic of the Internet, we have received some photographs capturing his arrest. As you can see Andy was roughed up a bit, but seems to be in good condition, (so far)!

Andy tries to resist the attackers! Check http://www.plethorabusinesses.com/ibba_gift.asp for updated news!

The arresting officer has given us ONE DAY to post his bail. We are asking ALL OF YOU to help us rescue Andy by making a small donation – any amount from $10 to $200, which can come from this year’s closings, or whatever small amount you can afford! Even in bad times, we need to dig deep and show we care.

Make a difference. Show the world that Brokers and Intermediaries care (even about Andy). Make your contribution now by clicking "Donate" on the widget to the left.

We promise to keep you updated throughout the day on the progress of saving Andy!
